What Are The Side Effects For Taking Althea Contraceptive Pill?
hi, im 24years old and have started using althea about november 2010. ive been using it continuously every month as a contraceptive pill. i was wondering what type of side effects would women usually encounter for long term use of the pill? also, if time came that i am ready for a baby, do i just have to stop taking the pills?

Althea Contraceptive pill has side effects like stomach pain, dizziness, headache, breast pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, changes in menstrual cycle etc. documented in single time intake in few cases .
However if you use it repeatedly (like twice a month ), it can down your libido, make your cycle irregular & skin allergies etc
if you discontinue the pills, it might take couple of months for your periods to get back to normal and the chance of pregnancy during the first few cycles would be doubtful.
