Yes, possibility of
cervical cancer recurrence is there, irrespective of surgery in the past. Means even if you had hysterectomy, recurrence can be there. Since you didn't undergo hysterectomy, chances of recurrence are higher in you.
Symptoms of recurrence are foul smelling
vaginal discharge, lower
abdominal pain, bleeding per vagina, weight loss, anorexia,
low grade fever etc.
And regarding future treatment, you need to first get done staging of the cervical cancer. If it is localised cancer than surgical removal with post opera chemotherapy and radiotherapy are options.
If it is metastatic cancer than palliative treatment in the form of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, nutritional support and pain management are the options.
So if you have any of the above mentioned symptoms than
consult oncologist, get done staging and star appropriate treatment.
