Hi, I have been taking microgynon 30 for years and always take it in a morning. However, yesterday, I forgot to take the last pill of my current pack and had sex with my boyfriend in the afternoon. I took the pill as soon as I realised on the evening. Will I still have been protected?

And moreover you have taken the pill within 24 hours it will not cause you any concern.
The microgynon is a very effective method of contraception and the I pill was not required for you to take.
You can start the new pack on the first day of your next period.
