Very Low Triglycerides, HDL. Has Pulmonary Stenosis, Angioplasty Done. Any Risk Of Stroke, Heart Attack?
Hi, I just found out my 21 year old, developmentally delayed daughter (who is also overweight) has triglycerides at 2.7 and HDL at 1.1. She has pulminary stynosis and has had an angeoplaste (sorry about the spelling errors...). She also gets monitored every 3 years with ECG s and EKG s. I ve asked to see a dietician or nutritionist to help guide me through this. Should I be concerned about an increased risk of stroke or heart attack? What should I do? How can I best help her?
