Vagina Area Smelly, Red, Itchy, White/grey Substance And Sore Sometimes. Regular Cleaning Done. Suggestions?

Hi, I have several symptoms of the vaginal area. These consist of a white/grey substance around the vagina, which sometimes can smell, I clean it away regularly but it continues to come back the next day. I have a clear discharge that leaves the vagina regularly, and also the area around the vagina is red and sometimes sore. It is very itchy and I am Embarrassed to have it looked at, can you help me?

Hello,
These symptoms of white cheesy material with red and sore mucosa below clearly indicates that you may be suffering from yeast infection called as candidiasis.
Treatment involves local application of anti fungal cream like CLOTRIMAZOLE in the vagina area for 7 to 10 days.You should be all right with this treatment.
But if you don't get relief or if you are getting repeated episodes of infection,you would have to consult a Gynecologist for local examination,vaginal swab and testing for diabetic status.
