Using Stool Softeners. Fatigued, Clammy, Stomach Cramps. Passing Stools And No Pain. Consult Doctor?

I have been told I am full of poop and given some stool softeners. he could see it in my belly exray. however, I have been feeling very fatiqued, clammy, stomach cramps at times. achy, this will be a week on tuesday, have decreased the stool softeners and, decreased the laxative.. I am passing stools and no pain when doing. I am drinking allot of water and trying to eat fruit and veggies, but stomach so upset... should I see a doctor again? YYYY@YYYY

Yes, you should see a doctor again. Especially if you are over the age of 50. You need to know that over 50, the risk of colon cancer significantly increases. Constipation can be one of colon cancer symptom. Especially if diet change has not helped.
Moreover, chronic constipation can lead to diverticulitis.
Other possible reasons of constipation are chronic intestines infection, hypothyroidism, medicines (ca-blockers, antidepressants).

I suggest you to visit your doctor and consider colonoscopy.
