Uncontrolled Bowel Movements, Burning, Diarrhea With Mucus And Blood. History Of Cholecystectomy, Frequent Miscarriages, PCOs. Help

Hi my name is Silvia, I am 32 years old, 170 cm tall and weight is 54kg. Over the past 4 weeks I have been suffering from uncontrolled bowel movements. I go to the toilet about 8-10 times per day and when I go watery fescue burts through with lots of gas. Once I go to the toilet I will have to go repeatedly a few times at once. Originally the was mucus with my feacus/ diahrea but more resently have had lots of blood with bowel movements. I have started taking photos of my toilet episodes as I am going to see a specialist next week. I have also taken antibiotics which did not work. My family has a history of bowel/ colon cancer. I have previously been told that I have cholecystectomy in gallbladder, have paraoverian cyst, have had miscarriage 5 months ago, have polycystic ovaries. My blood tests for celiac disease came back negative. If you would like me to send photos with blood please advice.

Hello,Silvia,
Thanks for contacting HCM with your quiery.
I am concerned about your symptoms of watery
diarrhea and presence of lot of blood. This is suggestive
of something acute going on in your abdomen.
You are a little younger to have Acute Diverticulitis, although
this is a possibility. This may be associated with fever, chills
and abdominal pain, usually lower abdomen.
Other conditions that I would have to rule out is "Colitis".
It could be ulcerative colitis or Crohn's colitis.
Crohn's typically affects the small bowel and a portion of
the large bowel. It can affect any part of the intestinal tract
including mouth, esophagus, stomach, small and large bowel.
You also mention taking antibiotics recently. This brings up
possibility of "C.Difficile" infection which can be diagnosed
by testing the stool for Toxins A & B . If present, you need
special treatment. In any case , with the severity of symptoms
I suggest that you contact your doctor as soon as possible.
You may need blood, stool test and a CT-Scan. You may need
a sigmoidoscopy or a colonoscopy to rule out colitis.
I wish you the very best.
