Treatment For Atrial Fibrillation.

50 yr old female. Have had food poisoning twice in past 20 years and both times experienced vomiting. Subsequent to the vomiting, my heart rate has become extremely irregular and has shot up t0 230 beats per minute. Rhythm is irregular (skipping), as well as pace (230). I have been converted with adenosine. Is this form of AFib and how can I avoid or stop this from happening?

Dear sir

Atrial fibrillation poses great risk for cerebrovasvular disease and stroke, even the coronary vascular events are increased if the patient is having risk of stroke.

Usually patients with atrial fibrillation needs long time treatment with oral anticoagulants, statins and antiplatelet drugs. Now a days recent advances shows that inhibition of pacemaker activity using certain drugs will cause benefits

Thanks
