Hi there I have had now for the past two days a throbbing pain in my lower throat when I lean forwards. Also when I take deep breaths in it hurts as though I have smoked a hundred cigarettes in one go. I visited an indoor swimming pool two days ago could it be the damp air that has affected me> I feel very slightly feverish too

Based on the information , you had hundreds of cigarettes in a day and had prolonged visit to indoor swimming pool, and now you are having throbbing pain in throat.
It seems like you are having an undergoing infection, soar throat. You will need to visit near by physician and have it checked.
