Tests Done. What Does The Findings Mean?

My Tests were like this before 17 days: FBS - 200, PPBS - 311, SGOT - 260, SGPT - 370, others normal. Since then I m taking Metformin 1000mg sustained release once before lunch, Udiliv 300 BDAC, Heptral 400 - ODPC, Neurobion forte - OD. My age is 40 and I used to take 200 ml of alcohol every day. Now I ve stopped alcohol and on diet control, walk every morning about 3 km and my reports are: FBS - 70, SGOT - 82, SGPT - 190, PPBs - results pending right now. Please tell me are by reports as compared to the previous one going the right way!

HI
Thanks for your query.
Your current reporrts are certainly better than the previous ones.
The control of blood sugar appears better and the liver enzymes are decreasing.
So continue to maintain the healthy lifestyle.
Please get an HbA1c (blood test) and an Ultrasound of the abdomen (if not done already).
Hope this helps
Good luck
