Taking Prednisone. UC Flare During Pregnancy. Allergic To Antibiotics. Need Alternative Medicine

I am currently on prednisone (just started) and beginning a week of tapering. I was in complete remission without using meds last fall except for digestive enzymes and probiotics. I got pregnant in January and just gave birth 5 weeks ago, 3 of which have been in a UC flare. I m going to assume this flare came from surgery (c-section) and the disruption of meds to my body. I am highly sensitive to medications and allergic to antibiotics which is why I d prefer to handle my UC as natural as possible. Are there GIs out there that are pro-natural or alternative meds or only prescriptions (conventional). I broke down and started prednisone because I m trying to take care of a newborn and 4 year old. Natural methods take longer and time is not on my side right now.

The UC is a very complex medical disorder which can bring in poor general health and many unwanted and untoward complication.
If not managed properly it may involve all the body systems by creating an inflammatory storm.
So please take help of a qualified physician and manage it properly.
Never get enticed by the Natural treatments offered on uncanny websites.
Self medication can worsen your disease like anything.
Prednisolone is a good drug for this disease but must be taken with two three other accompaniments.
Only a physician can tailor make the regimen for a particular patient.
The 'Natural treatments' are advised by many but up to this day there is nothing that can be called as natural and effective treatment.
