Taken Pill Only Once A Month, Had Unprotected Sex, No Period, Brown Discharge, Negative Pregnancy. What Could It Be?

i took my pill once this month the very first day and didnt take it at all , i was having unprotected sex with my boyfriend and i havent got my period , but during the month i got brown discharge and it wasnt close to my period . i went doctors today and the test came up negative but she told me it could be early pregnancy so it wont show just yet . what do you think ?

Thanks for query,
Your discharge may be due to a withdrawal bleed or a mid cycle discharge.
During early pregnancy there may be a spotting like discharge
To confirm further you need to go for blood pregnancy test.
Chances of pregnancy is there as you have no birth control.
