Taken Doxycycline For Sinus Infection. Fatigue, Tiredness, Headache. Need For Augmentin?

Hi, I was prescribed doxycycline for a sinus infection . I took it for 4 days than it made me vomit, the sinus infection felt like it had cleared so I stopped taking it.. Within a few days I feel fatigue , tiredness and headache .. The doctor sugested taking augmentin because he believes by not finishing the previous antibiotic that the infection is attacking in a different way. I was just worried that is a virus and that the augmentin woluld help but give me possible diarrhea Thanks for your thoughts

Hi,
You require antibiotic medicine still as your sinus infection is not clear.
If you have tendency for having diarrhea with Augmentin, ask your doctor to advice another stomach friendly antibiotic.

sinus are allergic you need antiallergic along with antibiotic as antibiotic counter infection no allergy
tiredness and headache are due to sinusitis or viral or both
add anti allergic tab antacid gel
analgesic and probiotic for 2-3 wk to be ok
