1.groin swelling means either there is fluid or inflammation in the groin area?
2.painless swelling in the Rt.groin (inguinal) region: could be anything ranging from hernia (inguinal/femoral), swollen lymph nodes, lipoma?
3. check with your health care provider for any Malignancy and medical care.

Hi.. The exact cause of the swelling can only be know after consultation with the doctor. But my guess will be that it may be a hernia.
Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Manish Rijhwani's  Response
It can be a lymph node enlargement i.e. inflammed glands or Inguinal hernia
Inflammed glands are hard & consistent swellings with no movements
in hernia the swelling increases while standing and reduces while lying down also coughing reflex will increase the swelling and normally the hernia swelling is not painful until it is strangulated

Could be hernia. Get yourself examined by a General surgeon.
