Swelling In Lips. Undergone Open Heart Surgery. Taking Aitrom, Levipril, Ecosprin, Becosules. Cause Of Swelling?
Sir,
My age is 39, female, gone under open heart surgery (mitral valve replaced)
I take the following medicines:
Acitrom 0-0 -1
Levipil 250 1-0 -0
Ecosprin 0-1-0
Becosules 0-1-0
Levipil 500 0 - 0 -1 and Frisium 0-0-1
Some time my lower lip will be swelled (like allergy). please tell me the reason for this swelling lip condition.

Swollen lips may be caused by Trauma, allergy, infection or cancer.
Trauma can be obvious by physical examination.
It can be due allergy to food, Diet or any insect bite or sting.
Infections from either viral like Herpes can cause lip swelling.
You already have the history of swelling.it indicates you are prone for allergy.
it is difficult to say that your drugs only to be the cause for your allergy.
Of the above mentioned drugs, Ecosprin have the higher possibility to cause allergy.
Because some foods also cause allergy.
Please consult some Allergy specialist as well as your cardiologist.

Swelling over the lower lip may be due to allergy due to some medicine , you are having.
Ecospirin is one of such medicine.
Rest of medicines as frusemide, lisinopril, statin becosules are safe .
2nd reason may be due to edema so kidney function test is important so please get in .Urine examination is also important.
If abnormal consult doctor otherwise well & good.
