Suggest Treatment For Throat Infection And Pain
I have an uneasy throat with pain although it started with pain . After usual gargle I was prescribed odoxil which cured 80% problem but did not completely removed it. During the course of odoxil I felt congestion and lump in throat and consulted doctor who said that it is pharyngitis with chronic tonsilitis with pus in thorat and prescribed azethrol. I have taken one dose but to no avail. Now I am getting anxious

As an ENT specialist, I suspect throat infection which can be pharyngitis or tonsillo-pharyngitis or laryngitis. During throat infection foreign body or lump sensation is a common symptom.
I would recommend you to start on antibiotics and 2% betadine mouth gargles which are available only on prescription and please avoid cold, spicy and oily foods for a week.
