I am in my late seventies. I frequently have some itching n my vulvar region .A doctor told me to use mentholatum or vicks on the area. It helped. I have been using this for years. sometimes, I tried to pass a tampon moistened with alcohol on the area and it stopped the itching. About a week ago, I noticed that my right labia minora is swoollen and hard with slight bleeding. I have pain and a burning sensation. What can that be and what do you suggest for treatment?
