Suggest Treatment For Stress

I've suffered many years with a lot of stress in my life. Yesterday I came down with the flu I started with nausea, stuffy nose, fever. I checked my pulse and it was 101. Today I've continued to check it. It's varied gone up and down. The most it's gone up is 134. I have always been healthy. I know it has to my emotional stress. My stress is not going to go down anytime soon. I use to go to the doctors often, but I recently got laid off. I longer have insurance. Can I have a heart attack do to my pulse?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. You must understand that if you check your pulse again and again, you are doing it due to the health related anxiety you carry. Such a health related anxiety automatically increases the heart beat and pulse. That is natural. If you are sure that you are having healthy habits, then why be doubtful? Secondly, during flu, body is defending itself. It is natural to have high pulse rate.

In reality, your anxiety is exaggerating every bodily symptoms. You should get rid of this anxiety. Please consult a psychologist for possible psychotherapy treatment.
