Most of the gastroenteritis in children are viral, and need only supportive measures with paracetamol for any fever and plenty of fluids like ORS to prevent dehydration. Zinc supplementation is also good. We need a review with your doctor if the loose stools continues beyond 5 days, stools contains blood/mucus, fever beyond initial 2 days, passing little urine, she becomes lethargic and not feeding- these suggest a bacterial course or presence of dehydration.
To heal the diaper rash, keep the area clean and dry as far as possible. Clean with clean water and avoid soap. Apply an emollient/rash cream 4-5 times a day.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
