Hello You mentioned that your mother is having sever cough from one week , E S R 104 mm of 1st hour , anemic . All these symptoms may be due to these possibilities , these includes. 1 Tuberculosis or any other illness ( because of elevated level of E S R and severe cough ) . Diagnosis can be confirmed by XRAY chest and tuberculin test .Also get in sputum examination. 2 Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis may be the another reason of such sever cough.Physical examination find out this disease. Sputum examination will be helpful in such cases. 3 Anemia , get in hemoglobin level and upload this over this site . Reduced amount of hemoglobin may be due to dry cough . There are so many reasons of such severe cough as pneumonitis , sinusitis , bronchiectasis . In my opinion deal as mentioned above . Consult a primary care physician and get his opinion. My personal opinion is that anemia and dry cough ( tuberculosis may be the reason ) are two different disease in your mother case. Good luck.
