Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a slightly elevated calcium level 10.5 and I get frequent joint pain especially in my feet and toes, I also get pain in my chest at times when caughing or taking a deep breath, I was told this was probably pseudo gaut when gaut and rheumatoid arthritis was ruled out from blood test. I also had a very sore middle finger beside the nail that really swelled up but was not infected this lasted for about 10 to 14 days now it is totally gone and feels fine the chest pain also seems to have subsided for now this tends to come and go. At The present time I have a sore right foot the top of the big toe joint and up the foot about 3" and is hard to walk for about 2 weeks. I am a 43 year old male in overall good health, I do have high trygycerides and slightly elevated cholesterol but with tricor and zocor those levels are normal. I also take prilosac for acid reflux.
thank you for the question. I would suggest x ray of foot and blood sugar levels. keep foot elevated onlying down or onsitting up. Do hot fomentation and take combiflam TDS after meals for 5 days. consult orthopedist with x ray ,blood report
