Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding pain in ear of your boyfriend for last 10 days, you had given him some ear drops but they are helpless.

Here I would like to tell you that pain in ear may be due to-

1- Impacted wax.

2- Otomycosis (fungus in ear).

3- Furuncle (boil) in ear canal.

4- Otitis media.

5- Referred pain in ear- here comes those diseases which are not the diseases
of ear but because of same innervation giving reffered
pain to ear like-

(1) Carious last molar tooth.

(2) Blocked eustachian tube.

(3) Ulcer base of tongue.

(4) Arthritis of jaw joint.

Therefore my suggession is please get your boyfriend to be examine by ENT doctor to rule out above possibility and reach to real fact that may be treated accordingly.

Regards.
