Suggest Treatment For Loose Motions

On thursday I had very bad flu like symptoms (headache, aching muscles, tiredness, fever) but today these symptoms have subsided quite a lot. Last night I was up every hour needing the toilet, but only yellow liquid came out and this has continued most of today. Do you know what this is and if there is anything I can do about it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there,
Do not get worried this seems to be a simple viral infection. The very fact that your symptoms have subsided tells me that you are recovering. Usually viral infections may cause some loose motions and all you need to do is keep drinking ORS in water hourly or two hourly. It should recover on its own.
If at all there is too much abdominal pain or blood/mucus in stool you may need antibiotics for which you may need to visit a physician. Till then just take paracetamol if fever comes again and drink lots of ORS fluids.
Hope this helps.
Take care.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, this could be viral infection, and such condition is self limiting, seldom need any treatment, else hydration is the matter only, for the fever and headache, you can try Tab Acetaminophen Ibuprofen three times in day, and this nothing to worry, take care.
