Suggest Treatment For Long Lasting Back Pain

I have been suffering from back pain for about three years with this last year being much more severe. My syptoms include lower back pain radiating down my right leg, tingling in my right and left feet, with right groin pain. At the same time my bowels have been bothering me, and I've had some dizzy spells.

My doctor GP informed me last month that I have a hermangioma, showed up in an x ray two years ago but it hasn't grown and has nothing to do with my symptoms. She has referred me to a physiotherapist/acupunturist. A recent cat scan reported "a trabecualr pattern of L3 vertbral body consistent with a benight hemangioma and moderate degernerative change in the facet joint on the right at L5-S1. Of incidentalt note is a hemangioma of of L3 vertebral body. My doctor said my pain has nothing to do with this. The pain is excruciating, what can I do?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient what is your age? Have you felt any discomforts in both legs after walking?
considering duration of symptoms and both feet tingling and numbness you might be suffering from lumbar canal stenosis. I would like further investigation in form of digital radiograph of lumbosacral spine anteroposterior and lateral views. Your CT scan aso shows facetal changes which indicates instability a probable cause of back pain. MRI of lumbosacral spine would be confirmatory for diagnosis. Once we came to diagnosis treatment can be planned accordingly.
For the time being start taking aceclofenac plus thiocolchicoside combination twice a day, vitamin B12 plus pregabalin 75mg will help relief your tingling and numbness. Start physiotherapy with hot fomentaction to your back and strengthening excersise for your back and abdomen. Together done all measures will help you relieve your back pain. All the best.
