Some times it spreads to buttocks as well. i have taken tablet terbicip 250, canditral 100mg prescribed by dermatologist. it gets cure for some time then it comes back again. I am suffering from this past 3-4 months . my girlfriend also has developed the same in her groint area . lately , now i am taking floz-150 and applying cream neo clobenate-gm, now waiting for the results. please advice to help me git rid of this. its very itchy and irritating. also , till date i have no health problems, weighing 82 kg and height(5 11). also i have a infection on my face too but it goes just by applying fucidin.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having fungal infection called as tinea cruris.
My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
