Suggest Treatment For Cough After Taking Medication For Sinusitis
ive been consulted by specialist about my throat and nose. it found out in the x-ray results that i have poly sinusitis. 10 days after taking the prescribed medicine including sprays and antibiotics. un til now i feel uncomfortable i cough several times after spraying. it is lasted for almost 10 days up[ to now? How could i know that i healed. what shall i do for this. do need to go back to my doctor. i disturbed fully with my works as librarian. please advice me i am n ot feeling well. thanks doc for your concern...
Since X-ray was done and was suggestive of sinusitis I would advise you the following in such a situation: - Consult an ENT Surgeon for ENT endoscopy - Supportive tests of blood - Confirmatory CT scan of sinuses - X-ray of chest to see whether the chest condition is causing coughing
All these will give the most appropriate diagnosis and allow for specific treatment. - Continue nasal sprays, decongestant and cough syrup as symptomatic treatment. - Take steam inhalation. - Povidone iodine gargles. + Complete the courses till cured.
