Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Abdominal Pain

I had been operated for appendicitis about 7 years ago. Soon after 2/3 years, constipation started. Last year I was diaganosed with stones in both the kidneys now doctor says are gone after treatment.
Now I have lost digestion completely. There is consistent pain on the lower right of abdomen, which happens to be the area of surgery for appendicitis. Pain is at the place of surgery as well as below that as well i.e. seems to be inside the large intestine and around. I have lost digestion means there is no digestion at all and passage of stools do not happen unless I take medicines. Also, it is all fudgy and seems to contain some mucus kind of thing. CT scan of abdomen and pelvis conducted on 25th july says no significant abnormality found. Currently I am taking Tab Tropix, Tab Cintapro, Tab Lafaxid, Tab Remepen.
I am not experiencing wt loss, fever, nausea, visible blood in stools etc. But I have lost bowel movements completely.

Hello,

You didn't mention your diet and habits? Are you hypertensive? Diabetic? Alcoholic? Smoker? Appendectomy may not cause pain abdomen and constipation. It may be due to low fibre diet or sedentary lifestyle or infection or irritable bowel syndrome etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.

Take high fibre diet, do regular exercise and if symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
