Suggest Treatment For Congestive Heart Failure

My 58 year old sister was just diagnosed with CHF only 25% of her heart is working the left side is barely moving is the best I can explain. They are going to do angioplasty on her today. When she was admitted she only weighed 118 at 5 6 which is very uncharacteristic and her AC1 was 15.8. What is the prognosis?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There must be a blockage in her heart vessels and angioplasty is best treatment.
Her EF may improve after angioplasty.
I think, you are talking about HbA1C, if it is so then it is uncontrolled diabetes and need strict treatment.
There will be much improvement in her condition with treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
