Hello, You are suffering from throat pain, severe cough and general body pain. You are suggested to gargle your throat with warm salt water. Give voice rest. Avoid talking. you are suggested to take liquid or semisolid diet so that you do not hurt your throat. You should take sips of water and fluids throughout the day to keep throat well lubricated and comfortable. You are prescribed Wikoryl and Festal 500 (Festal N) by your treating doctor. Festal N Tablet is an enzyme supplement to help digest food properly. The enzymes in this medicine helps to digest food (fats, carbohydrates, and protein) as it passes through the gut. Wikoryl tablet is given to relieves symptoms of common cold such as blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. It helps to loosen thick mucus and hence gives rapid relief. You have a history of angioplasty done 3 years ago and take Ecosprin (75), Nebicard (5) and Coversyl. You can take the medicines prescribed to you but in case you develop certain side effects that make you uncomfortable, you should report urgently to your treating doctor. Take care.
