Suggest Treatment For Cold And A Throat Infection
I am on day 5 of a cold or virus. Began with a very sore throat and swollen glands, but no congestion. Looked like strep with red bumps, but strep culture was negative. Then it turned into a horrendous head cold. Today, I am back to just a bad raw-sore throat, but now my throat looks like blood vessels have broken in the back of it. Should I go back to the Dr. or is this just from blowing my nose 1000 times?

Hi,
Start tablet Augmentin 1 gm twice daily after food for 1 week. Take tablet Allegra 120 mg for 1 week. Start betadine gargle for 2 weeks. Take steam inhalation. Continue betadine gargle with warm saline gargle. Start Nasoclear nose for 2 week. Take plenty of water.
