Suggest Treatment For Ankle Pain

I had my entire ATT transferred in the right leg back in 2000. The front of the ankle where the tendon crosses has been painful and tends to lock up at times. My orthopedist says it is likely tendonitis at this point and that my tendon reacted better to the surgery than most. How do I manage this from home? And what might I expect? Thanks.

Hello,

Tendinitis can occur from repetitive stress due to movements and may be the cause. Cold compressions with gradual training of ankle movements should help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
