Infectious Diseases Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
I understand your concern.
I am Dr. Arun Tank, infectious diseases specialist, answering your query.

Amemia can cause white patch but it never causes red patch.

I advice you should investigate the cause for such a severe anemia with nearby general physician.

Till you get investigate please start the treatment according to your haemoglobin level.

If your haemoglobin level is much low you should start blood transfusion. If its mildly elevated its necessary to start the treatment with oral iron therapy.

Please take the treatment till your haemoglobin reaches to normal value plus three month to replenish the iron storage of the body.

I will be happy to answer your further concern, you can ask me on bit.ly/DrArun.
Thank you.
