Suggest Therapy For Anxiety And Stress

I am a 34 year old male and have suffered from GAD and Panic Disorder for years. I have done some self help programs that have helped quite a bit and i rarely have panic attacks anymore. I also work out everyday. However, I still have quite a bit of just generalized anxiety. With that being said I am constancly focused on my heart. Over the years I have had multiple tests including Echos, EKG, Holter Monitors, Stress Echo's and nothing abnormal has ever shown up. Lately my heart seems to be skipping beats or having extra beats more frequently. There also times where it will beat really hard once and this startles me. I don't have any chest pain and I'm failry certain this continues to be anxiety but just wanted to see if I should speak with my doctor again. I also have BP monitor at home and on a few rare occasion the irregular heart beat signal has shown up. I am not currently taking any prescription meds but I do take a baby aspirin, Omega 3 and multivitamin daily. Any advice? Thanks so much!

Hello
Welcome here.
You have Panic and GAD.
First, you should continue with whatever self-help programs you are undertaking.

Since you have had all the investigations done and those are normal, i would suggest you to not go for further investigations and keep wasting time and money.

Consult a psychiatrist.
Drug treatment can be instituted. Drugs like escitalopram work wonderfully well in GAD with minimal side effects.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
