Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
It sounds from your query like you have developed rib
fractures. And multiple rib fractures at that. Now unfortunately, there is no rapid treatment for a rib fracture. It usually does take 1-2 months to heal.
The avalable option to you may be strapping. In this they basically tie a bandage around the chest that restricts the movement of the ribs thereby restricting the pain.
Take care of your posture and activities and it may reduce if the ribs dont move so much
What you need to worry about is why did it happen, and in a patient of my own I would have suggested the following tests in addition
1. complete hemogram
2. vitamin D and calcium
3. serum protien
electrophoresis and
4. bone scan
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above so i can be of help further. Best of luck.
