Suggest Treatment For Pneumonitis Causing Severe Pain

I had a blood clot on my lung about two months ago. The clot has desolated due to the blood thinner that I am taking. I was hospitalized again for inflammation of the lungs (8 days). I am still having chest pain and sore Glands . Last weekend I went to the emergency room due to pain in my chest , back, shoulders and glands. Today I have been in so much pain, I don t like to take pain medicine but I cannot take the pain. I have had multiple cat scans & chest x-rays. The last diagnosis was Pneumonitis. I really can t continue to deal with This pain. I have RA & hypothyroidism. I guess my question would be , should I still be in pain ? How long does it take to get over this.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You need to undergo bronchoscopy to find out what is the cause for lesions you described, as such severe pain due to simple pneumonia should have come down by now. Also get a ECG done to rule out any cardiac cause.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
