Suggest Remedy For Infected Sore And Itchiness On The Arm

I have an infected sore on my arm that started off as an itchy spot, now there are 2 more starting up. I have been bathing it in salty water,applying betadine ointment and covering with large banda aid. I was getting sore under the arm. but it has settled down for a bit. I havehad this for owver a week. what am I doing wrong.

Hi,

Infected sore on the arm that started as an itchy spot seems to have grown due to continuous itching of the area leading to a sore formation. It might have led to infection in the area leading to a sore.

My suggestion is to consult at an emergency room or a physician and get it evaluated and a clinical examination can be done. A course of antibiotics can be advised and along with it apply Triple antibiotic ointment can be applied. Try not to scratch the area as it can cause spread of infection.
