Hi, I am 33, 174cm tall and weigh 68kg with no medical history and a non smoker. I had bunion surgery 3 weeks ago and had disolvable stitches. The stitches on top of my foot look fine and the wound has healed well but the wound around the bunion site keeps opening up slightly with walking and after showering. The scar tissue and skin is also very very hard and dry. It is not overly swollen or inflamed and there is no pus. I am using betadine and steri strips and dressing it daily but dont know whether I should be lathering it up with moisturiser instead.
