Suggest Remedy For Diverticulitis

Hello...I'm 57 years old and female, I've been diagnosed with diverticulitis, been in the hospital twice in August of this year. I had a very bad headache before I was diagnosed, been on antibiotics...twice changed my diet, was taking "Digestaqure" capsules, I cut back on them because of the expense...we are currently un-employeed.I've started having the headaches again...they started last week, the top and left side of my head, my throat and my glands on the left side are very sore and swollen, my left ear hurts constantly.....I've used cold meds, ear oil, tons of water, extra sleep...nothing seems to help. The headaches scare me.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
It looks form your history that you have 2 separate problems, headache and diverticulitis as now you have only headache and you have not mentioned any abdominal symptoms.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get a consultation of your Family Doctor for preliminary clinical evaluation, examination and thus an order for further investigations like CT scan of the head and sinuses as would be advised.
Diverticulitis is going to be recurrent problems and at present if there are no symptoms you may please go for diverticulitis diet, plenty of oral fluids, stop anything that can increase colonic problems.
Once the diagnosis is clear you can have proper management and get proper relief or cure.
Till them you can take Paracetamol in proper dosages and frequency to control headache.
I find this answer helpful
