My 3 year old has tiny red bumps on his back neck ears and cheecks. They are warm to touch and are itchy. I thought it might of been from a new sunscreen but I gave him Benadryl a couple of times and they are not going away. It s been over a day now and nothing has changed. Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do to help?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Since you have noted these red bumps to be due to application of sunscreen and you have already given benedryl, you can wait and watch. If the symptoms progress much contact the Doctor to get a proper clinical diagnosis. This gives the chance for a proper treatment in case it is not due to sunscreen and due to some other reasons like exenthema rash or so.
Never use sunscreen again as the next reaction can be very bad. I hope this answer helps you.
