Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per my surgical experience, the radiation-induced damage giving blood through anus needs prompt actions as -
- Priority-based appointment with gastro surgeon - Maintenance of hydration with plenty of liquids - Dietary measures, bulk-forming laxatives to avoid hard stools - Avoid smoking or alcohol if consuming - Get prescription of calcium dobesilate, tranexamic acid or other agents which controls capillary bleeds very well.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
