Suggest Medication For Rashes On Body And Fever

hi my 2 year old daughter has had a slight raised tempreture for a couple of days around 37.6 today we notice a light rash on her body ! she is eating but only in small amounts also with drinking ! we have been giving her calpol ever 4 hours , but she doesent seem to be improving ?

Hello
Normal temperature is around 37 C i.e. low grade fever from last few days ( as you mentioned in query ) .
With temperature there is also rash from one day.
All these symptoms may be due to .
1 Typhoid fever , get in serology test and Widal test for confirmation.
As rash mild a feature of typhoid fever.
2 Viral fever is the another cause of such symptoms so get in blood examination for virus .
3 Hepatitis or jaundice may be the another reason of such symptoms . Get in blood examination for HBASG , A B C & E .
Calpol or paracetamol is good drug as an anti pyretic but not more than 4 times in day ( in my opinion ).
For rashes you can use antihistamine syrup.
