Suggest Correction For Pigmentation Problem

On 19th Jan 2010 I met with an accident on road. Due to this I got cut my face skin under right eye. I went with plastic surgery for this on 20th Jan 2010 to avoid distortion on face skin. After the surgery I got light coloured skin on and nearby cut skin and blackish on the cut pat of the skin. There is no distortion on face skin. Only I am concerned about the blackish part of the skin. How will it go. For the last 3 months I Have been using Mederma Skin Cream to treat this. Kindly Advice.

Name: Rajeev Ranjan

Sex: Male

Age: 33 years.

Place of Accident: Nanded, Maharastra.

Place of Operation: Nanded, Maharastra.

Kindly advice please.

Please avoid sun exposure and use a sunscreen at all times during the day. You need to use a preparation that can help dissolve dark pigmentation due to degradation of red blood cells that leaked and got accumulated at the site of injury when you had that operation. With passage of time, you should get better but seeking an expert opinion might help you recover faster as the doctor might consider using a laser treatment for your complaint.
