HI piper_3_15.

YOU HAVE ONLY CHEST PAIN AND PAIPTATION BUT NO OTHER ANXIETY SYMPTOMS SO IT SHOLUD NEED EXCLUSION OF ANY CAUSE IN HEART AND LUNG SO FIRST DO A ECG,CHEST XRAY,BLOOD LID PROFILE,SURAR AND TSH AND CONSULT WITH YOUR DOCTORS IF EVERTHING IS NORMAL THEN WE SHOULD THINK FOR ANXIETY DISORDER OR PANIC ATTACK AND THEN YOU SHOULD VISIT A PSYCHIATRIST FOR PROPER EVALUTION AND MANAGEMENT,

PLEASE REMEMBER ALL PSYCHATRY DISRDER HAVE SOME PHYSICIAL SYMPTOMS THAT CAN OCCUR IN OTHER DISEASE ALSO AND THE RULE IS THAT EXCLUDE THE OTHER DISEASE FIRST BEFORE STAMPED IS A PSYCHIATRIC DISORDER.

THANK YOU

Hello........
Thanks for your query. You can consider an ECG, chest x-ray and a TMT test to rule out any cardiac/ lung pathology for these symptoms. If the results are normal, in all likelihood you would require a thorough psychiatric evaluation for anxiety disorders including panic disorder. The treatment includes:
1. Anti-anxiety agents like SSRIs
2. Psychotherapy techniques like CBT/ Cognitive behavioural therapy
Yoga, meditation and deep breathing relaxation exercises are likely to benefit you. Wish you good health.

Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

it seems that you are suffering from Anxiety Neurosis.

Avoid phobia for chest pain and fast heart beats, and try to forget about these complains.

Avoid stress and do some mental relax exercise.

If require you may consult psychiatrist for counseling.

Ok and bye.
