Suffering From Severe Pain Due To Stomach Flu

my mom has stomach flu and has been vomiting and or nausea for 3 days now. went to GI Dr b/c of severe pain. All tests clear. diagnosis flu. She is so nauseous right now I am going to give her 4mg of Zofran, but she is over 200 lbs so i was considering 2. she has no allergies to the known reactions to this drug

Hello. I think that is not much to worry as flu settles on its own. However, take care to replace any fluids lost. Lots of water. And electrolyte sachets to mix with water and consume . You can give her just one tablet of Zofran. It will have its effect in a while.
