Suffering From Hypothyroid. What Should Be The Dose Of Medicine When TSH Is 24?

hi my name is kalpana .i have been suffering from hypothyroid for the last 7-8 years .. whilst i started with 25m thyronorm . i was 34 yrs old and weighed around 91 kgs . i am now 41 and 83 kgs . my thyronorm dose is 150 ms now . i wanted to re-assess my thyroid situation so this time i got my tsh checked after 10 days of no meds . my tsh is now 24 . what should be my dose .

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Hypothyroidism has to be managed by hormonal replacement.
The dose of thyroxine has to be reviewed regularly after getting the thyroid function tests.
The TSH value upto 24 is very high.
You should start your medicine.
You need to consult your endocrinologist for assessment of the symptoms and titration of the dose.
