Suffering From Constipation. On Genpain. Haemorroidectomy Done. Can I Take Arcoxia?

Hi XXXX here, had a haemorroidectomy 2 days ago and have not passed a stool yet, the take home meds were genpain( codeine ) which can cause constipation which i am trying to avoid, I saw another DR today who advised Arcoxia and am worried that it will also cause constipation. if so, what are the best pain meds for a post hemorroidectomy?

Thanks for query.
You may take ibuprofen,paracetamol combination tablet for post hemorroidectomy pain.
Take twice a day or as and when required.
For constipation you may take liquid Cremaffin.
Ok and bye.
