Suffering From Anemia

hi my father is suffering from anemia (hb 7.5) because of chronic bleeding from stomach( using aspirin for 1 year) and now taking iron supplements(Sangobion). After oral administration of 4 days he has swelling around his eyes. is it allergic reaction or bz of anemia?

As aspirin can cause bleeding from stomach,why he is taking aspirin.Allergy can occur to any medicine .So change the brand/variety of iron .as so many other types of iron is available in the market. Disclaimer

You father may had peptic ulcer due to use of NSAID which is major cause of ulcers
continour bleeding cause HB less. If you had allergic reaction due to iron supplements better to use natural iron source. herbal praparation are also rich in iron..
