Suffering From PCOS. Periods Only While Using Toilet, Having Intercourse, Painful. What Could Be The Reason?
Hi I have pcos I'm 25 and slim the last couple of months I have had what the doctor said was a strange period. It would only come out when using the toilet or after intercourse I normally go years without one at all this month I had some pains then the next day had some reddish discharge a week on from them yesterday I had pink discharge then some blood after sex only a little what do you think please help me
Hi, In the current scenario, I would ask you to get a complete evaluation by a gynecologist to exclude local causes for the spotting, you would need a complete hormonal profile, glucose tolerance test and a trans-vaginal sonogram. In PCOD it is possible to have prolonged periods of amenorrhea and metropathic cycles, but having spotting after intercourse calls for a pap smear and a vaginal swab to exclude other causes. Hope you find this information useful. Good luck.
