Soft Lump On Neck, Chest X-ray Clear. Could It Be Flu?

i have a soft squish lump on the bk of my neck where my trap meets my neck its been there a while it seems to swell n deciapte with reg movement . i been to a doc had tb test done n returned neg ive also had a chest xray done n was told it looks clear; my chest n heart all seem normal . the only thing ive ben told is it could be a flu and to keep taking robaxin n tynenol cold and pain im wondering if i should keep doing so?

If's its been there for more that a week....that isn't the flu. I would ask you family doctor to refer you to someone who can do a simple needle aspiration of the lump to see exactly what it is you are dealing with.
