Smell And Spotting During Bleeding
I had a D&C two weeks ago, still spotting but the smell is of old blood even though the light spotting I have is a darkish red. No fevers or any pain as I went back to the hospital I had the D&C done and both doctors there didn t agree that I had an infection . What could this smell be then? I can smell it even while wearing a pad.

Spotting after D&C is common. As you have not been experiencing any pain or fever it is unlikely to be due to infection.
You have mentioned why D&C has been done . Whether for abortion or other medical reasons like menstrual irregularities
Coming to the smell you have been complaining of it is due to dead endometrial cells( If D&C was done due to treat menstrual irregularities) or products of conception ( If D&C was done as a part of abortion)as a result of D&C and due to the action of vaginal acidic secretions on blood. It is a common problem after D&C.
Just stop thinking of of it and you would be back to normal very soon.
